How to Access USTVGO on Your Roku Device

Watching TV on a Roku device? Want access to all your favorite shows for free through USTVGO? Well you’re in luck! In this handy guide, I’ll walk you through everything you need to know to get USTVGO working on Roku.

What is USTVGO?

For those new to it, USTVGO is an awesome website that streams over 90 American TV channels completely free of charge. We’re talking major networks like:

  • ABC
  • AMC
  • Cinemax
  • Paramount
  • TCM

You name it – USTVGO likely has it available to watch on-demand.

The only catch is that to access the site and content, you need to connect through a VPN that assigns you a US-based IP address. But don’t worry, I’ll cover exactly how to set that up below!

Step 1: Sign Up for a VPN

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) basically masks your real location and makes websites think you’re accessing them from somewhere else. USTVGO requires a US IP, so follow these instructions to get set up with one:

  1. Open your browser and go to
  2. Click on VPN at the top of the site.
  3. Select the Get NordVPN button.
  4. Choose a subscription plan. I recommend going with the longer 1 or 2 year plans to save money.
  5. Enter payment details to complete your purchase.

And that’s it! The same NordVPN account will work across your computer, phone, tablet or other devices.

Step 2: Install the VPN on Your Phone

To mirror USTVGO to your Roku, you’ll stream it on your phone first. Follow these steps to download and configure NordVPN there:

  1. Open the Play Store app.
  2. Search for “NordVPN” and install it.
  3. Launch the NordVPN app and log in with the details from your subscription.
  4. Connect to a US-based server.

You’re now ready to access USTVGO!

Step 3: Visit USTVGO and Start Streaming

Here’s how to get USTVGO pulled up:

  1. Launch the Chrome app on your phone.
  2. Go to
  3. Start watching your favorite shows! Pretty easy right?

Step 4: Mirror to Your Roku

Last step – make the USTVGO stream show up on your TV!

  1. Open Roku settings and enable Screen Mirroring.
  2. On your phone, go to Settings > Connections & Sharing > Cast.
  3. Select your Roku and connect it.
  4. The USTVGO screen will automatically show on your TV. Enjoy!

And that’s all there is to it! You now have free live USTVGO streaming on your Roku. Reach to let me know if any part of these instructions need clarification or if you run into any trouble getting set up.
