What You’ll Need Before You Start
- Your new Spectrum Mobile device
- The SIM card that came with your device
- Access to spectrummobile.com/activate on another device
- Your Spectrum.net login credentials

- Some patience – activations can take a bit of time depending on if you’re transferring your number or getting a new one

Alright, let’s walk through the activation process step-by-step:
- Turn off your new Spectrum Mobile device. Safety first!
- Insert the SIM card into your device using the included SIM ejector tool. Your device may prompt you to reboot after this – go ahead and let it do its thing.
- On another device, head to spectrummobile.com/activate.
- Sign in with your Spectrum.net credentials.
- You should see your new device on your Activation Dashboard. Select it and choose whether you want to transfer (“Keep”) your existing phone number or get a new number.
- If transferring your number, provide details on your previous carrier when prompted.
- Click “Start Activation” and follow the instructions to activate your device!
- Once you see the “Activation Complete” message, your device is ready to finish setting up! You may also get a confirmation email from Spectrum.
- Turn on your new device and connect it to Wi-Fi.
- Follow any remaining setup prompts to get your apps, contacts, and settings how you like ’em!
