How to Activate Rocket League at

Hey there fellow rocketeers! If you’re like me, you love Rocket League’s intense vehicular soccer action. But nothing’s more frustrating than having your account progress trapped on one platform.

The good news is you can link your Rocket League account across platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. This allows you to share items, competitive rankings, Rocket Pass progress, and more!

Here’s a step-by-step guide to get your Rocket League account linked up:

Step 1: Create an Epic Games Account

Rocket League uses Epic Games accounts for cross-platform progression. So first things first – head to and create an account if you don’t have one yet. It’s a quick and painless process.

Step 2: Link Your Platform Accounts At

Next up, go to and log into your Epic Games account.

You’ll see options here to link your PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and Steam accounts. Click “Login and Connect” for any platforms you want to link up.

For each one, log into that platform’s account, review the connection details, and click “Link Account”. Easy peasy!

Step 3: Choose a Primary Platform

Once your accounts are linked, you’ll need to select a “Primary Platform”. This is where your main progression (rank, Rocket Pass, etc.) will be stored.

I recommend picking whichever platform has your highest level and competitive rank. You can change your Primary later if needed.

After picking one, review your connected accounts and click “Confirm”.

Step 4: Play Rocket League Anywhere!

That’s it – you’re all set! Your items, competitive rank, and Rocket Pass will now carry across every linked platform. No more starting from Level 1 whenever you switch consoles.

Just remember that in-game currencies like Credits and Esports Tokens stay on each specific platform. And you can only change your Primary once per month.

But besides those small caveats, it’s cross-platform Rocket League awesomeness from here on out! Now get out there and show off your fresh new items on all your favorite devices.

Let me know if you have any other questions – happy soccer-car-battling!
