Activate without logging in
Don’t have your Discover login yet? No worries! Select “Activate without logging in” and provide:
- 16-digit card number
- Expiration date
- 3-digit security code on back of card
- Primary cardholder’s date of birth
- Last 4 digits of the primary cardholder’s SSN
Enter the CAPTCHA and follow the instructions to complete activation.
Activate by logging in
If you already have your Discover online account credentials, simply:
- Go to discover.com/activate and select “Login”
- Enter your username and password
- Provide your 3-digit security code when prompted
- Enter the CAPTCHA and click continue
And your new card will be activated!

- Enter your card number, expiration date, DOB, and last 4 digits of SSN
- Create a username and password
- Click register
